The End of Summer

This summer has been wonderful so far, and there really isn't much left of the summer.  I have enjoyed all the time that I have spent outdoors, especially with my family.  Kimball and I go outside every day for at least an hour, and he is turning into quite the explorer! One thing he likes to do is play in the dirt.  For the most part, I don't mind, well at least until he eats the dirt.  Playing at the park is another fun thing that we do most days of the week.  He is a professional now at going down the slides by himself, and he even gets on the big swings and can hold his own. I can't mention the outdoors without mentioning all of the walks that Kimball and I have been on this summer, it would be fun to see how many miles we have accumulated.  

Other than out day to day activities, we have been camping once this summer, which really was quite an adventure.  The company and the food was awesome, but we didn't get lots of sleep and Kimball locked us out of the car when we were about to leave. Great times though!  We went to Utah once this summer to see my niece Brianna baptized.  It was a quick trip, but it was so much fun to see everyone.  Mike has been fishing quite a bit this summer, and actually that is where he is at this very minute.  I hope these last few weeks of summer linger for a little while, but once they are gone we have so much to look forward to! Halloween, Mike's B-Day, Thanksgiving, the NEW BABY, Tiff's college graduation, Christmas, and New Years.  All of these events mean more memories and time spent with those that we hold dear!
